ITM's System Implementation Methodology

ITM understands that in today's competitive environment an effective and efficient process is required to help clients gather project information, define requirements, make decisions, and implement e-Business solutions.

Under the direction of the client, ITM applies structured methods for all implementing all e-Business solutions, including systems definition, design, and implementation tasks. The most effective approach is to breakdown the entire effort into multiple phases. Each phase maps to a specific stage in the evolution of the overall system design, development, deployment and maintenance life cycle. Each phase is well defined in terms of tasks, deliverables, milestones, and costs. As the project progresses, the client develops an increasing degree of confidence and certainty about the functions and capabilities of the final system as well as the total cost for designing, implementing, and maintaining it.

Depending upon the nature and complexity of the solution, the following phases with the associated deliverables are modified to meet specific client needs:
Phase 1: Requirements Analysis/Functional Description Development
      - Requirements Document
      - Functional Description
      - Preliminary Requirements/ Technology Map (Optional)
      - Prototype (Optional)
      - Preliminary Cost Estimates (Optional)

    Phase 2: Design
      - Detailed Design Specification

    Phase 3: Pilot Implementation
      - Limited functionality for testing, validating, and accepting the system

    Phase 4: Implementation
      - Systematic completion of features and functions not delivered in the Pilot

    Phase 5: Maintenance
      - Post implementation and support, troubleshooting, and software maintenance
